Minutes of the Hykeham Planning Committee meeting 03.21 held at the Civic Offices, Fen Lane on Tuesday 8th June 2021 at 7.00pm

3.1 Election of a Chair for the Hykeham Planning Committee
It was RESOLVED to elect Cllr Sellars as Chairman
3.2 Apologies for absence and acceptance of reasons given
It was RESOLVED to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given from Cllr Jackling
3.3 Receipt of any Declaration of Members’ Interests under the Localism Act 2011
There were none at this time
3.4 Notes of the Committee meeting held on 25th May 2021 be approved as a true record of Minutes
It was RESOLVED to accept the Notes of the Hykeham Planning Committee meeting held on 25th May 2021 as a true record of Minutes.
3.5 Chairman’s items
Cllr Sellars thanked the members for electing him as Chair. He also wished to express his thanks to Cllr Briggs for the excellent job he had done as Chair of the Committee.
3.6 To consider the following:
Planning Applications:
21/0764 Oak Farm, 437 Newark Road – Erection of 1no. detached dwelling (second resubmission of 20/0268/FUL)
It was RESOLVED that the Committee objected to this application. They fully supported the decision that had been made by NKDC to a previous submission and did not feel that this application had been changed.
Amended Plans
21/0279 Grinter House, Grinter Close – Demolition of 1-12 Grinter Close and 11 Chapel Lane, erection of no.18 affordable dwellings and redevelopment of Grinter House – Amendments consist of revised proposed site plan, plots 19, 28-31 and 32-34 plans and elevations, proposed landscaping, proposed foul sewer layout and proposed adoption areas to address site constraints/consultee comments.
It was RESOLVED that the Committee had no objections to this application
3.7 Decisions received and correspondence
21/0180 Land North Of Whisby Road – Erection of 4 units to include ancillary trade counters, with associated access, parking & infrastructure – Amendments received regarding a revised description – for information only.
21/0483 1 Recar Close – Erection of 2 storey side extension – APPROVED
21/0408 Neale Court, Neale Road – Erection of a garden store and sprinkler tank store to serve the existing care home – APPROVED
21/0523 17 Conway Drive – Proposed single storey hipped roof rear extension, replacement of existing flat garage roof with pitched roof and internal alterations – APPROVED
Street numbering
Sandpiper Road – Costa will be Unit 1, KFC will be Unit 2
A breach of planning conditions had been reported to NKDC regarding an extension to the Grain Store on Boundary Lane. NKDC are looking in to this.
3.8 Consideration of Proposed Waiting Restrictions – Paving Way
It was RESOLVED that the Committee supported this proposal.
3.9 Neighbourhood plan issues (standing item)
This is being considered at the next meeting
