SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
The next meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 9th July 2025 7pm at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane, S Hykeham.
Prior to the commencement of the meeting, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to meetings)
Act 1960, a public forum will be held from 7.00pm for a maximum of 15 minutes where members of the
public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. If there are no members of the public present the Council meeting will commence promptly at 7.00pm.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and to resolve to accept the reason for absence.
2. To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.
3. To consider expressions of interest for Parish Council vacancy and to fill the vacancy by co-option.
a) To complete the acceptance of office so that the co-opted councillor may participate in the meeting.
b) New Councillor to receive the Register of Interests for completion to be returned to the Clerk before the next meeting.
c) New Councillor training to be approved.
4. To receive County/District Councillors written reports.
5. To resolve to adopt the clerk’s notes of the meetings of 11th and 26th June 2025 as the minutes of those meetings.
6. To resolve to approve the payment of accounts for July 2025.
7. Highways matters
a) Speed Indicator Device report from Cllr Roe.
b) Outstanding/new highways faults requiring urgent attention.
8. Planning matters
a) To consider NKDC/LCC planning applications received and respond by deadline.
b) To receive LCC/NKDC Planning Decisions
9. 10 Year Strategy Working Party events update.
a) Arrangements for the Parish Council stall at South Hykeham Dog Show on Sunday 10th August 2025.
b) Update on suggestions for Parish Council Manchester Bomber memorial at Pump Hill.
10. To approve Councillor’s Finance training nominations for Finance and General Purposes Committee members.
11. Correspondence.
12. Chairman’s report. 13. Clerk’s report. 14. Parish Councillors’ reports –information only/items requiring a decision will appear on a future agenda. 15. To consider moving into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 as amended by section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 for confidential items.
