SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
The January meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 10th January 2024 7pm at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane, S Hykeham
There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.00pm and 7.15pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. If there are no members of the public present the Council meeting will commence promptly at 7.00pm.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and to resolve to accept the reasons given.
2. To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.
3. To receive County/District Councillors written reports.
4. To receive the Police report.
5. To resolve to adopt the clerk’s notes of the meeting of 13rd December 2023 as the minutes of that meeting.
6. Finance. a) To resolve to ratify the renewal of the annual Data Protection registration.
b) To resolve to approve the payment of accounts for January 2024.
c) To resolve to renew the annual subscription for LALC membership 2024/25.
d To resolve to renew the annual subscription for LALC training scheme 2024/2025.
e To resolve to renew the annual subscription to SLCC for Clerk’s membership 2024/25.
f) To resolve to renew the Website Maintenance Service for 2024/25.
7. Parish Council meetings. a)To approve the schedule of dates for Parish Council meetings 2024/25.
b) To approve the venue and housekeeping arrangements for Parish Council meetings.
c) To consider the arrangements for the Annual Parish meeting to be held on 10th April 2024.
d) To agree the arrangements for the nominations and presentation of Community Awards at the Annual Parish meeting.
8. Litterpicking – To consider holding a litterpicking event to coincide with the Great British Spring Clean event and to agree the programme of Parish Council led litterpicks.
9. Highways matters:-
a) Speed Indicator Device report from Cllr Roe.
b) Outstanding/new highways faults requiring urgent attention.
c) Report from Cllr Driffill to NKDC regarding a suspected abandoned vehicle and NKDC response.
10. Planning matters
a) To consider NKDC planning applications received and respond by deadline.

b) Planning applications dealt with under clerk’s delegated powers due to deadlines for response.

c) To note NKDC planning decisions.
d) To consider LCC planning applications received and respond by deadline.

11. Hykeham Joint Neighbourhood Plan update and change of date to 22nd January 2024 for the next meeting of the HNP Review Steering Group.
12. Report from 10 Year Strategy Working Party meeting of this evening.
a) To consider communication from the Pageantmaster to mark the D-Day 80 celebrations on 8th June 2024.
13. To approve Councillor/Clerk’s training nominations.
