SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
The July meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council meeting will take place on Wednesday 12th July 2023 7.00 pm at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane, S Hykeham.
There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.00pm and 7.15pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. If there are no members of the public present the Council meeting will commence promptly at 7.00pm.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and to resolve to accept the reasons given.
2. To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.
3. To receive County/District Councillors written reports – for information only. Items raised for decision will appear on the agenda for the next meeting.
4. To receive the Police report.
5. To resolve to adopt the notes of the Parish Council meeting held on 14th June 2023 as the minutes of that meeting.
6. To receive the report from the 10 Year Strategy Working Party meeting of this evening.
a) To confirm the arrangements for the Armistice Day Service on Saturday 11th November 2023 11am.
b) To consider suggestions put forward for a Parish seasonal event.
7. Finance.
a) To resolve to approve the payment of accounts for July 2023.
b) To review the Parish Council policy for grants and donations.
8. Highways matters
a) Speed Indicator Device report from Cllr Roe.
b) To report outstanding/new highways faults requiring urgent attention.
9. Bus Shelter at Thorpe Lane update.
10. To confirm the exact locations for the Elizabeth II and the Charles III benches.
11. Planning matters
a) To consider NKDC planning applications received and respond by deadline.

13.To consider the proposal for a review of the Hykeham Joint Neighbourhood Plan following the adoption of the Central Lincs Local Plan 2023 and to confirm attendees at the presentation by Consultant Luke Brown at NHTC on 26th July 2023 6.30pm.
14. Litterpicking report and proposed date of next litterpick on Saturday 9th September 2023.

20. To consider moving into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 as amended by section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 for confidential items.
21. To set a date for a meeting of the Human Resources Management Committee in order to conduct the Clerk’s Annual Appraisal.
