SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
There will be a meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council’s Finance and General Purposes Committee which will take place on Tuesday 8th September 2026 6.30pm at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and to resolve to accept the reason for absence.
2. To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.
3. Finance
a) To approve the proposals for additional staffing costs generated by the recently settled Annual NJC pay award and any other on costs relating to the advertising of the post and recruitment/training etc.
b) To consider the assistant clerk’s membership of SLCC.
c) To consider the assistant clerk’s nomination to undertake the CILCA qualification.
4. To consider a response to the NKDC consultation on Closed Churchyards.
5. To confirm the colour/design and fixings for the new Parish Council noticeboards and to make suitable arrangements for their delivery and installation.

8. To consider moving into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 as amended by section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 for confidential items.
9. To consider the NJC Pay Award for the Clerk and to make a recommendation to full council for implementation and backdating of the award from 1st April 2026.
