SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
There will be a meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council’s Finance and General Purposes Committee which will take place on Tuesday 9th June 2026 7pm at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and to resolve to accept the reason for absence.
2. To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.
3. Election of Chairman of the Committee.
4. Election of the Vice Chairman of the Committee.
5. Finance
a) To consider proposals for additional staffing costs and equipment required for 6 hour per week assistant clerk post.
b) To consider the recommendations from the HR Management Committee meeting of Tuesday 9th June 2026.
i) To recommend to full council that the job description and associated costings should be approved.
ii) to recommend to full council that the draft contract of employment and associated costings should be approved.
6. Bus shelter application update.
7. Consideration of quotes for a replacement defibrillator with a recommendation to be reported to full council at the meeting of Weds 10th June 2026.

9. Clerk’s report.
10. To consider moving into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 as amended by section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 for confidential items.
11. NJC Pay Award update.
12. Recommendation from the meeting of HR Management Committee meeting for a full review of the Clerk’s pay scale in line with her terms and conditions of employment.
