SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL

The July meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 10th July  2019 at 7.00pm in South Hykeham Village Hall

There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.00pm and 7.15pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. If there are no members of the public present the Council meeting will commence promptly at 7.00pm.


AGENDA

1.  Apologies for absence and to resolve to receive the reasons given.

2.  To resolve to receive any declaration of Interests in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider member’s written dispensation requests.

3.  Police Report.

4.  Bridleway N Hykeham 2 improvements

a)  Update from Phil Watt of Access Lincoln.

b)  To approve the tender strategy and associated documents for project.

5.  District and County Councillors’ reports – for information only.  Items raised for decision will appear on the agenda for the next meeting.

6.  Notes of the Parish Council meeting held on 12th June 2019 to be approved as the minutes of that meeting.

7.  To consider expressions of interest for Parish Council vacancies (2) Danker Ward and fill by co-option.

8.  Finance

a)  To resolve to approve the payment of accounts for July 2019.

b)  To receive the budget report to 30th June 2019.

c)  To note acknowledgement from external auditor of Council’s notification of exempt status 2019.

9.  Highways

a)  LCC Highways School Safety Zone request for site survey at South Hykeham Primary School update.

b)  To receive Speed Indicator Device report from latest location and consider remedial action.

10.  To consider the proposal for Parish Council Annual Community Awards.

11.  Lincs Association of Local Councils.

a)  Nominations for Councillor Training.

b)  Report from Local Council’s Networking Day attended by Chairman and Clerk.

12.  Councillor Surgeries update.

13.  Correspondence.

a)  Email re: May Day Bank Holiday 2020 moved to Friday 8th May to mark 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

b)  Email from NKDC requesting suggestions for street naming of Thorpe Lane development.

c)  Email advising of electoral review of Local Government Boundary Commissions of NKDC/Parish Briefing.

17.  To resolve whether the Council will move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 as amended by section 100 of the  Local Government Act  1972 for the following confidential items.
