SOUTH HYKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2026
The award will be awarded annually and will ordinarily be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting in April.
1. Nominees should be aged 25 years or under and be residents of South Hykeham, or, if they belong to a group/organisation/school/team etc that is being nominated they should be associated with South Hykeham through their group/organisation/school/team etc.
2. Any Sports Club/School or other organisation with members/pupils who are residents of South Hykeham or who have some other association with South Hykeham through school, the Church or a group that meets in South Hykeham may nominate such a member/pupil/team. Nominations may be made by family or friends or indeed the person or group may nominate themselves.
3. The nominee(s) will have demonstrated an outstanding and successful year within their chosen discipline or particular interest and will have supported their fellow team members, fellow pupils etc and will have been a good ambassador(s) and representative(s) of their organisation/school/team etc.
4. The Trophy will be held by the winner for a period of one year on the understanding that the winner will be responsible for the Trophy and that it will be returned to the Council in the same condition as it is received at the end of the period. In addition the winner(s) will receive a framed certificate to record the award.
5. Closing date 6th March 2026.
6. The Award is normally made annually but this may be varied at the discretion of the Parish Council.
