See photos from the recent show at Hall Farm.
South Hykeham Fun Dog Show took place at Hall Farm, South Hykeham and was primarily to raise funds for St Michael's and All Angels Church South Hykeham. In addition, there were several craft stalls, tombolas, food, plant, cake and gift stalls and representatives from various charitable organisations including St Barnabas Hospice and Guide Dogs who were fundraising for their own charities. Representatives of South Hykeham Parish Council were also on hand to meet parishioners and listen to their concerns.
The stars of the show though were the many dogs who had come along with their owners and who had been entered into at least one of several categories including prettiest eyes, waggiest tail, best dog, best bitch, best young dog, best veteran, best rescue and, of course, the best in show.
A good time was had by all, but especially enjoyed by the dogs who had a lovely time making new friends with the bonus of a winners rosette or trophy for the successful competitors.
A very difficult task for the judges who did a grand job but I think that everyone would agree that each of the entrants was a winner!!
