VE DAY 80th Celebrations
There will be a Service of Remembrance and Commitment taking place at the Memorial Bench, Meadow Lane, South Hykeham, on the 8th May 2025 for the VE Day 80th Celebrations, with the emphasis on 'celebration'. The service will start at 11.00am followed by 'celebrations' at the bench and in the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels, weather permitting. Otherwise inside the Church.
For the Celebrations (bell ringing at 6.30pm), the theme is a 'special tea party' with a Union Jack cake and other refreshments.
The VE Day 80th Celebrations will be a tribute to all those who served and to say thank you for their courage and fortitude in the face of adversity.
All are welcome.
