South Hykeham Parish Council
The next meeting of South Hykeham Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 12th March 2025 at South Hykeham Community Primary School, Wath Lane, LN6 9PG commencing at 7pm. There will be a 15 minute public forum commencing at 7.00pm prior to the Council meeting when members of the public may address the Council about matters that are of concern to them.
Meetings usually take place on the second Wednesday of the month and members of the are public are welcome to attend. There are no full Parish Council meetings during August.
Agendas are published on the village noticeboards and the Parish Council website. Copies may be obtained by contacting the Parish Clerk on Tel: 07762 318013 or by downloading from the website.

Dates of future litterpicks - For more details about volunteer litterpicking contact the Clerk or visit the Parish Council website.
Date of 2025 litterpicks are Apr 12th, June 14th, Aug 9th, Oct 11th, Dec 13th. Assembly point Beechcroft Drive amenity space 10.30am to midday.

Applications can be submitted any time during the financial year up to 31st March 2025.
Community Awards 2025
Nominations are now being taken for the Parish Council Community Awards 2025 which will be presented at the Annual Parish meeting on Weds 9th April 2025 6.30pm. Closing date for nominations is 23rd March 2025. Forms are on the Parish Council website or may be obtained by emailing the Clerk.
Bus shelter top of Thorpe Lane, Newark Road, South Hykeham
The Parish Council has confirmed the design and installation of the new bus shelter at Thorpe Lane to replace the existing one with a structure that is more serviceable and easier to clean. The order has been placed and it is hoped that the new bus shelter will be in place early in the Spring.
